Oregon Salmon Fishing
Salmon fishing is the most popular type of fishing in Oregon. There are many different species of salmon but we target mainly Chinook (Kings) & Coho (Silvers)
Salmon Facts
The Salmon runs that we target happen in the Spring (Spring Chinook), summer (Summer Chinook) and Fall (Fall Chinook).
Springers are smaller in size then the Fall fish but what they lack in size they make up in flavour. By far, the Spring Chinook Salmon is the most delicious salmon you have ever tasted.
Springers weigh from 10-20 pounds are are full of fight. Fall Chinook can run over 30 pounds and some are even in the 40 pound range.
The Fall Chinook are still wonderful table fare and delicious almost any way that you cook them.
